I am so pissed off. The in-laws are staying and FIL has been teaching DD1 (2 years old) to open the stairgates.
Annoyed because:-
- I have a soon-to -be-crawling 5 month old DD2 and really don't want the stairgates to be opened by DD1 when I have shut them.
- DD1 is still capable of falling down the stairs in her daft moments, and is even more likely to if she's trying hard apply some force to jig the gate open at the top of the stairs and it swings open.
- We may want to put a stairgate across her bedroom door when we move from the cot to a bed to avoid night hazards and to contain her.
