worried

im very worried. my little boy is 13 months and he keeps doin things to hurt him self. he scratches himself and pulls his hair. he stands and bangs his head against the door. he is also quite violent towards others hitting, scratchin etc. im not so worried bout that tho just wot he does to himself. advice please

DD does this. She is 16 months. I think a lot of it is frustration and also to see what reaction they get. I just ignore it unless I think she's really going to hurt herself, then I distract. Don't worry, it's a common phase for young toddlers to go through.

it is hard to ignore tho, i hav been told i should and i do try but i find it really hard sumtimes

It is really hard, it's horrible to see them hurting themselves. If you can't ignore I would just distract with a toy or something.
