3.8 year old who can't keep still

Some advice needed please. My dd who is 3.8 yrs old just doesn't seem to be able to keep still at home. She's moving all the time, jumping off furniture, kicking, sliding, shuffling - you name it.

We've had no reports from nursery about this, but it seems to be getting worse. Is it just attention seeking, or could something else be going on?

We also have ds 21 weeks.

Any help gratefully received.

hi queribus, my dd (nearly 7) and ds (4) are the same. I think it's just a character thing tbh. I even tried to cut out all artificial cr*p, E number, sugar etc. and after 3-4 weeks no difference so it's in their nature. Saying that they are also incredibly bright (and that's not just mum's oppinion .

I have enroled them in physical stuff though. DD does gymnastics one day a week after school after which she's still wired and ds does dancing once a week which doesn't slow him down either. Next year he's down for rugby LOL maybe that'll wear him out.

Good luck! And if you're really concenred try and get to see a paediatrician for reassurance.
