I've searched mumsnet for any information on this but the only thread i can find is from 2006 and was unresolved....

My DS sometimes shakes for a few seconds towards the end of his feed, its like a shiver but his whole body gently shakes, and i'm worried it may be some kind of fit....

I spoke to my health visitor after it had happened twice and she said it wasn't anything to worry about unless he started to do it at any other time...but this evening he did it again and it seemed to last for a lot longer...

i pulled him off the breast and held him close and he stopped...

i am going to take him to the doctor about it but i'll probably get more information off here...

has anyone heard of this at all? is it just a pleasure shiver? or something more serious?

any help at all will be most welcome...

xx

mine used to do a big shiver - when they'd finished a wee

They do this when they wee. Don't worry!
