DD 4yo completely ignores her dad

to the point where she will turn her head away if he speaks to her, refuses to kiss or cuddle him. she is also really clingy with me to the point where she is literally attatched to me most of the time. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and how you handled it?

Is this a new thing? If so, probably a phase, but if it's general, they must spend time alone together - even if it means you popping out to the shops.

My ds2 was exactly the same and we made sure he spent allocated time with daddy. I often had to leave the house otherwise he just wouldn't go to him - really upsetting for dad

It's not unusual if dad is not the primary carer and on;y natural for her to migrate to you. Give it a go - they will both benefit and so will you from the 'break'. Good luck!
