when dd was 2 she weighed 15 pounds. No idea what that is in kilos

28 lbs

he is 2.5

and it is the same weight he was when he was 1

he is in fine fettle

DS is just over 30 pounds. My children are whoppers though!

Sorry DD is over 30 pounds, DS is only four months old (and he's 20 pounds).

Well she's more than 15lbs! Was your dd prem, Needmorecoffee? Also were there any concerns over her weight? And what does she weigh now?

no she wasn't prem. She is just little. At 4.8 she is now about 22 pounds or maybe a bit more.
One doctor got all in a swivet about it and has suggested a feeding tube but her paed seems happy with her weight.

Son is 2.3 and about 2.5 stone /15.8 kilos

28lb 10.5oz/13 kg and has been since july.

When ds was 2.5 he weighed 14.5 kilos.

DD weighed 13kilos.

Eldest DS was 13kilos too

p.s. between 2-3 their appetite decreases and they burn off some baby fat according to the HV who just did his 2 year check. He was a real chunk before two but is definately staaarting to lengthen out..

I'm not sure exactly as DD won't stay on the scales long enough for me to see but I think she's around 23lbs. She is 2.3. She is quite petite/short and still in some 9-12 month trousers and 6-12 month tights so we get our money's worth from her clothes!

DD is 2ysr 2 months & 16kg (35lb)
She has always been on 98th percentile though

DD is 2.5 and around 26lbs
DS is 6 months and just over 20lbs!

DD is 2 years 3 months and according to our scales she is 29lbs.

DS3 - almost 18 months is 31lbs (but that was after a week of being ill and not eating/drinkg much at all)

She is about 23lbs so heavier than your 4yo, NMC!

She is dropping off the bottom of the centile chart. Am not usually worried about it as she has always been little but she hasn't put any weight on for ages now although she has had a growth spurt.

Ds1 (2.5) weighs 12.6 kg (27 lb 12 according to my red book conversion table).

He went down to about 11kg at 2 years old when he gave up dairy (intolerance) and stopped eating. Weight has gone up recently now he is back on yoghurts and has had a bit of a growth spurt. He is very skinny.

I guess it's all normal tho! Sometimes I feel like she's going to snap

mejon- I know she's still in 9-12 mth trousers, although recently i have been using my real nappies again so i have been able to go up to 12-18mth! Dresses last for ages- she can wear most sizes up to 18-24mths.

ohdearwhatamess- she has been on dairy free diet since she was 2 (4 mths ago) but usually eats well, drinks soya no problem and has started eating lactofree yogurts. She has no appetite atm but she has a bad cold.

She had major problems as a baby gaining weight, so I may have over compensated by constantly feeding her

She's not losing weight though is she thatsnotmymonster? I've just looked at DD's red book and at 13 months she was just over 19lbs so has only put on around 4lbs in over a year. She's between the 2nd and 9th centiles which is where she's always been apart from a little 'bilp' where she actually went up to the 25th!

Hi. No she is not losing weight.

She has gone from 50th at birth, 25th at 6 mths, 9th at a year and now 2nd centile at 2.4yrs.

She was nearly 18lbs at 10 mths so she has put on 5lbs in 18 mths. She was on the 9th cle for ages and I just thought she was little and that was fine, now she has dropped to the 2nd centile. Mind you a little weight (gained or lost) can make a huge difference (percentile wise) at this age.
