Dreamfeed - How is it done?

I've tried without success doing it from the breast, she doesn't take it - but my OH can do it with a bottle, he says he has to go into the light to semi-waken her.

How to do it from the breast?

i had a low light on the landing, unzip sleeping bag, feed, then put her back.

No need to wake them at all or take them out of sleeping bag.

Just pop teet or boob in mouth and let them do the rest. It can take them a while to figure out what you're doing, both dss were about 8 weeks old before I could successfully and reliably dream feed either of them despite trying from 4 weeks. We bottle feed both, it might be that the immediacy of the milk dripping out of a bottle stimulates them to suck a bit quicker - I don't know.
