7 month old screams and cries when getting her dressed

Does anyone else have this problem, or has had this problem, with their children? It's quite perplexing and I'm wondering if it's "normal" and whether she will grow out of it. It starts when I put something over her head and reaches fever pitch when I try to get her arms in.

DS4 also 4 months does it, I think it is very normal tbh. They are learning to set thir boundaries.

(is she an April baby? are you in the April postnatal group? you are very welcome if she is)

Thanks for your response. Yes, she's an April baby but I'm not in April PNG - how do I join, where do I find it?

Hi, my 7 month old DD is exactly the same, I find singing twinkle twinkle (tunelessly!) helps. DS was the same at that age so it does pass

Hi, my 6 mth old is the same. If DH is around, we can distract her by him singing and dancing . I also put any awkward tops and her coat on in front of the tv which helps.

My DSs are now 9 years-old. They won't get dressed, either. We've overcome this problem by sending them to school smeared in toothpaste.

DD was born march 31st
She was a week early if that helps?!
