Hi all, Just got back from a visit to the HV for DS's 8 month review..which went ok....apart from a couple of niggly things that have irritated me. I know HV is only doing her job, but I felt I was having mini confrontations with her! DS has teeth, and I am using non-fluoride, natural toothpaste until he can spit out, then Im happy to use the fluoride type. HV said I should be using fluoride on him as from now, I said "I dont want to" she said "I think you should" etc etc...also she had a problem with me letting him drink Evian water, she said am I aware that mineral waters have things added to them? I replied maybe but I am prety sure that tap water does too!! As I left she said I would be contacted when DS is one year old or thereabouts, for an appointment for his MMR..."but you probably have your own views on that too" !! Hmm, well she's right, but I felt she had me down as an argumentative fruitcake. maybe Im just a bit sensitive.
