Isn'ty she a bit young to be so emtional and dramatic?
DD1 is 8. She is very sensitive and quite emotional. She gets very wound up sometimes (which she gets from me I fear). At the moment she is quite resentful of DD2 who is 2 and seems to her to get loads of attention. In fact DD1 is easily the apple of my eye!
It was all to do with going to a gymnastics class she didn't want to attend. Lots of tears and shouting.
Afterwards i got her to admit that she said the thing about wanting to die becuase she knew it would hurt me NOT because she meant it. And she went to the class and quite enjoyed it!
Does anyone elses child of this sort of age behave like this? I was expecting the melodramatics to start at more like 13. She's no where near puberty (I was very late).
