I don't know what to do anymore...I have 3 children - 2 over 10 and a 4 year old. I just don't seem to be able to get through to them regarding keeping their rooms tidy and looking after their things! I have taken tv's out of their rooms etc, but nothing seems to work...it's getting to the stage where they will end up with nothing in their rooms apart from their beds if it continues like this! They have expensive computer games etc, that are just slung around the house and no thought given to the fact that they cost alot of money! Help, what am I doing wrong?!??! Sob!

Go the other way. Instead of punishing, have a family meeting and ask them if they understand why you get hacked off. If they do, then ask them how it can be changed/ what you should do about it.
Or refuse to feed them until the mess is cleared up. That should do the trick..!
