Tommy Tippee sensor alarm just went off..!

i ran in and she's fine and it resumed normal beeping but flashing that an 'event' has occurred.
The manual says there are other reaons the alarm can go of but i'm terrified now -has anyone else had this?

With ds1 his alarm went off a couple of times for no apparent reason. We put it down to him rolling into a corner and the pad not picking him up.

Oh yes, I remember the first time our TT sensor alarm went off, DD was 4 mo and I have never moved so quick to the side of our room to get to her, she had just shuffled to the corner, in the smallest ball ever, she was fine.

Our alram goes off quite regularly now as DD is all over her cot in the night.

Dont worry, you get used to it.

Scary! My ds' was great for the first 3- 4 months but then it started going off ALL the time for no reason, not sure if it's cos he learned to roll so used to roll to the side of his cot and off the sensor. Not sure but I used to go stomping upstairs calling ds' name in such a panic. DS must have been peed off with me bursting through the door in the night to him, he just wanted to sleep and he slept so well that I ended up ditching the alarm at 6 months as it was driving us mad. Even now though (he's 15 months) I have a video baby monitor and if I haven't seen him move for a whle I go up and listen for him breathing but I am neurotic!

Not that dd spends any time in her cot these days but it used to go off all the time. Scared the b'jesus out of me the first few times but you get to the point where you almost ignore it if it goes off a lot, like a car alarm, which is not good.

i remember the first time mine went of i was donw stairs and me and my husband have never run so fast in my life and we grabbed her out her cot and she just looked at us as if to say 'why the hell did you do that'. I agree with eyeballsinthe sky though when they go off all the time then you just start to ignore it so with second baby i have not bothered using it.

I find the beeping oddly comforting and sleep better with it. I am nurotic too and couldn't think about not using it

Ours went off twice, think DD was off the pad

I also have Angelcare - it's been good actually, but then DS isn't yet at a stage to wiggle off the pad. Was in the bath though one day when it went off, and heard MIL yelling for DP in panic. Was all ready to jump ou the bath and run - but turned out DP had picked DS up - MIL hadn't realised he'd gone upstairs!
