just found a bite mark on ds arm

says he had a squabble with a boy at lunch time, the boy bit him, ds cried but didnt tell anyone.
They are 5
what should i do?

oh . You should tell the school tomorrow. You'll need to take him to the out of hours/A&E if the bite broke the skin though as he'll need antibiotics.

Tell the school that their playground supervision leaves something to be desired. Ask ds how it happened and if he laid hands on the other kid first so you know exactly what happened. Tell ds your personal views on what he can/can't do in terms of defending himself/getting out of difficult situations- your opinion on this may be different from the school rules.

I will see his teacher tomorow, but as he didnt tell any one, i dont think that they will know of the incident to shed some light.
