ADHD EQUASYM SIDE EFFECTS? HELP!

Hello
My son is 15 years old and been taking Equasym for 2 years already. About 6-8 months ago he started to get alopecia which his child development officer and ADHD specialist assured us that no side effects like this had been witnessed by him and this was not a side effect at all? Yet I read on the net via your company that makes the product that indeed it IS!
My son is now also suffering with swollen finger and knuckle joints that are red and purple and very sore to touch. He can?t write with his normal hand as it is too uncomfortable. His GP has sent him to a skin therapist but as yet we wait to get to the appointed date and time as his GP has no idea what it is and has never seen anything like this to date so he is stumped?

Can you help, advise as we are very worried about our sons health and well being. Previously he has tried other adhd drugs that have not worked for a long period of time.

Regards

Jonathan

Hi, Integr8,
Alopecia and joint pain are reported side-effects of Equasym according to the manufacturers. I would suggest you go back to your GP and ask to speak to someone with expertise in the prescribing of Equasym and find out what to do next.
This must be very worrying for you.
