very sleepy baby

i have a 12 week baby girl and sometimes she has very long sleeps in the day. this occurs every 3 weeks probably. could you let me know if this is associated with growth spurts. she still feeds but is very sleepy during the day. normally she doesn't sleep much in the day just sometimes incrediblyl sleepy days.

You don't say how long she sleeps, but I wouldn't have thought it was anything to worry about at 12 weeks as long as she's getting enough feeds down her. Maybe she's just catching up on the days she doesn't sleep? My dd slept about 6 hours on average during the day when 12 weeks if this helps.
