I'm lucky my ds is easy to amuse - give him a ball and he's happy Rolling. kicking, bouncing..... Have you got mother and toddler groups in your area? Or any groups at the library (often free.) Or swimming. Clothes pegs (putting them in and out of the container!) seem to go down well, or what about turning your pots and pans into instruments? If you don't mind the mess, a bowl of water with a straw and a couple of cups/similar seems to be fun too. Hope there may be 1 or 2 ideas here that you haven't tried.

try the fisher price .com website, they have a great section on play/activities, on the left hand side of page, for all ages
