Mushroom and sausage risotto for my tea. He learnt how to do it at school, I could seriously get used to this! Do you think I am being mean to let him do this once a week?

LOL!

Lovely, DSS just started similar cooking lessons too.

No harm in him cooking once a week at all IMO, if he can cook why not chip in and help? I used to cook the tea every night at his age.

LilRedWGoreandguts · 20/10/2008 21:24

Does he want to come to my house for an evening?

cory · 20/10/2008 21:26

We used to have this lovely tradition where me and my brothers took it in turns to do a whole Sunday dinner, with pudding. I still have fond memories of some of those puddings.

That's brilliant. Well done to your son! Some adults can't cook anything as good as that (I'm married to one of them).

porkypoo · 20/10/2008 21:59

This is true Horton. I don't want to impose him on some poor unsuspecting female later in life do I? he he he Think I may start him on the ironing next!
