Nope I think they do it to annoy us too -or possibly through shyness?

DD certainly doesn't have any problems screaming at me if the answer to her request is 'no'

DS2 does it. He can have perfectly audible conversations with his mates, but mumbles incoherently at me and then shouts if I ask him 2, 3 or 4 times to repeat himself.

I'm thinking it might be an aspect of his severe case of middle child syndrome.

My DD3 is like this. drives me insane.

Even school comments on her.....and yet she can be loud!

I am so confused as you would think being one of five she would be louder.....the others certainly are

Yes my ds does this.

When he wants a biscuit or chocolate and thinks I'm going to say no!

LisaLessLumpy · 14/10/2008 17:20

Haha, mine does this too Mercy, makes me laugh
