DS is crying inconsolably after 16-week vaccination shots - have tried cuddles & feeding to no avail. He's been a bit like this after 8 and 12-week vacs, but this is the worst. Anything else I can do but offer cuddles and wait for sleepiness to tak over again?

Has he had some Paracetamol Syrup?

My ds was like this too, gave him calpol but it didn't seem to help. My only advice is to hang in there! I know that's not much help but it won't last long, just give lots of cuddles and eat lots of chocolate or crisps or whatever you want to stay calm!

Would recommend Paracetamol Syrup rather than Calpol*.

As with some children, they are sensitive to all the additives and colours in Calpol, whereas Paracetamol Syrup is not supposed to have all of that.

What you want is to take away any discomfort etc.and in some cases "Calpol" stirs them up more.
