My dd, 8m, still hasn't got any... My own mum says she can't remember when I got my first one!

ds was 6 months. But it is VERY variable so don't worry. Some babies are born with their first tooth!

JuneBugJen · 01/10/2008 21:32

7weeks. Ouch as breastfeeding.

LittleMissNorty · 01/10/2008 21:33

My DD was 8 months.....some don't get any until 12 months....plenty of time yet

Hulababy · 01/10/2008 21:33

13 months, then came in wrong order. Middle bottom two didn't come for ages!

BigBadMousey · 01/10/2008 21:35

DD1 and DD2 - 9.5 months

Fizzylemonade · 01/10/2008 21:44

ds1 23 weeks and ds2 7 months! I have friends that had babies who were over 1 year old!!! They looked really funny, all gummy

peachsmuggler · 01/10/2008 21:47

13 weeks but know someone who had none at 1. Don't worry, it's not a problem.

MrsBates · 01/10/2008 21:49

TODAY!

Midge25 · 01/10/2008 21:49

Ah bless. She's not alone then! I quite like her gummy grin...will miss it when the first tooth arrives!

She is 6 months - same age as her big sis and bro when theirs popped out. I have a friend who was born with 6 teeth and one whose baby still has none at 10 months. I must have very average babes.

Hulababy · 01/10/2008 21:51

DD was a walking, talking (quite fluently too) gummy 1 year old. Very cute No teeth didn;t hinder her ability to talk or eat anything though.

MrsBates · 01/10/2008 21:52

I like gummy grins too. Also sweet neat milk teeth - my eldest is nearly 5 - when will she get gaps and big teeth? I will so be sad to have that tooth fairy hanging about here every 5 minutes.

chunkychips · 01/10/2008 21:53

ds got his first one well after his first birthday and dd is the same. She's still only got six, with two molars half way through now and she's 21 months. Was getting worried, but they seem to be coming very slowly.

PinkPussyCat · 01/10/2008 21:53

Oh I so miss ds's gummy grin

JuneBugJen · 01/10/2008 21:54

I always want to make little dentures for big gummy babies...just to see what they would look like.
A bit like this I think...

Hulababy · 01/10/2008 21:55

MrsBates - DD is 6 and no mising teeth yet. She is only one on her Y2 class not to have lost a toth.

MrsBates · 01/10/2008 21:59

OK. I will enjoy her lovely baby smile for a bit longer. My nana used to tie bits of thread to my wobbly teeth, then tie the other end to a door handle and slam the door to yank the tooth out. A bit complicated but I enjoyed the drama. Wonder if I'll be doing that?

teddycat · 02/10/2008 08:48

my baby got his last weekend, four days before he was 8 months old and he got his bottom two at the same time, I saw them literally within 3 hours of each other, it was a relief as i swear he's been teething since he was 3 months.

Soph73 · 02/10/2008 09:51

Hulababy - my DS1 will be 6 on Sunday and he still hasn´t lost any teeth yet and just like your DD he´s the only one in Y2 not to have lost a tooth. DS2 is 5 months and doesn´t have any teeth yet although is dribbling a lot and constantly jamming his fist in his mouth and chewing on his thumb.

SlartyBartFast · 02/10/2008 09:56

ds1 was 4 months, eons ago, can't remember any one else probably the same.

missblythe · 02/10/2008 10:02

DD was 11 months, then got about 1 a month until they were all here.

bababelle · 02/10/2008 11:01

DD is 10 months this week and still hasn't got any. She seems to have been teething forever though. Is it true that if they come later they tend to come several at a time?

hana · 02/10/2008 11:04

dd3 got her first tooth at about 13 months, still pretty gappy at 2

dd1 has lost 1 tooth, she's 7. desperate to loose more!

wasabipeanut · 02/10/2008 11:07

Mine is 13 mo and he is just cutting his first one now! It's one of the top ones btw.

PinkTulips · 02/10/2008 11:08

dd was 3m when she got 2, then they disappeared back under the gums and she didn't get any more til the week of her 1st birthday when she got 8 in the space of 2 days

ds was 6/7 months i think.... not sure why i can't remember properly, it was more recent!
