DS, 4, is spitting at school, need some strategies to stop this.

DS is 4 and he goes to reception.

We are having ongoing issues regarding his behaviour at school, yesterday's issue was spitting.

He knows that he shouldn't do it, and the school is punishing him as they see fit, but it is not having the desired result of him not spitting.

What strategies have you found that work to stop spitting?

DD is at school now and sometimes forgets to go to the toilet. I think she just gets so excited about being around other children, that she forgets. At home she's been fine for over 18 months.
I think you should ask CM to remind her, perhaps they could have scheduled potty breaks?
She'll get there eventually, don't worry!

What has the teacher suggested?

How are they punishing him? I, personally, would have him clean it up, whether inside or out. Think he would get the message.
