I think my 5 year old DS is ^wierd^

He likes to build "structures" out of anything and everything and also stringing things together!! My husband thinks he is a budding engineer but it seems odd to me!There is no other strange behviour or probs at school.What does anybody think???

Sounds like a 5 year old to me

Just a hint- if you are really concerned don't post like this in Sn, words like weird and strange aren't liked

but if he is NT and a boy then yup- they're all strange LOL (I have 4 boys)

Sounds quite cool to me! Maybe he's just got good spatial awareness, and enjoys trying it out.

Thanks Habbibu.Didnt mean to cause any offence by saying acting wierd/strange!!I guess my female brain doesnt understand. My other sons are not quite so wacky.Hopefully he will invent something amazing when he is older! I just wondered if anybody else has a DS like this???
