at what age do you stop bathing siblings together .......

dd is 2.4 and ds is 6.9 and i've always bathed them together but some at work said she thinks ds is getting too old

DS is 6.10 and DD is 4.2 and they always bath together - I've never though about not bathing them together they're surely not too old are they - they love it! What fun is bath time without having someone else to splash?

i would still bath mine together, dd 5 ds 1 but ds poos in the bath

my thoughts exactly seeline - plus there is only 1 fllod per night in the bathroom rather than 2!!!!

dd likes to copy her big bro with teeth etc so it makes my life easier!!

When they stop wanting to, or you sense that they are uncomfortable.

Or they start prodding each other

My boys are 8 & 9 and they still bathe together. they are happy to do so, so it's not a problem.

tee hee rearing - my little bro used to do that too - me and my sis refused to bathe with him

my three younger ones still do, altho DD3 is getting mildly irritated now what with the boys fabulous ability to try and drown her and the rest of the bathroom!

boys still bath together all the time, tis the only time I am certain of a hours peace from them both at the same time.

my dd stopped wanting a bath with her younger sister when she developed breast buds, and her sister noticed

feeling relieved now - i'll carry on as i am!!! Woman who said it doesn't even have kids but i was starting to doubt myself

Ah well, people without children are always the experts on how to raise them!

I would say when they stop wanting too. My older boys are 10 and 9 and have wanted to have a private bath/shower for at least a year now.
My nearly 7 year old dd is quite happy to share a bath with her three younger sibs. But I guess she will, at some point, say she wants to bath alone.

we stopped bathing ds and dd together earlier this year when ds turned 7.

it saves water, it saves time and while it is fun for them there is no reason not to

DS is 9 and he's still comfortable with it.

Definitely when they don't fit any more.

My boys are 5 and 8 yrs and DS1 likes to lay out a bit so we are getting close to the stage but DS2 not keen to give it up yet.

two baths every evening aaaaargh. Baths will be alternate nights when that happens in this house!

Surely you don't have to run a new bath for each child. I put DD in then get her out and DS has his bath in the same water while I'm helping DD get dressed..it hardly takes any longer than bathing them together.

dd1 is 9 and doesn't think twice about bathing with 4 year old ds.

She does like to have a relaxing bath on her own at times too though...

I still bathe mine together, DD will be 9 in Nov and DS is 4.

I'm sure that soon she will want some privacy but I don't wish to foist it upon her and make her think her body is something to keep hidden.

As for the size issue - I had a much bigger bath installed this year!

Oh Geekgirl, I'm pleased it not just us!

My DDs are 5, 4 and 1. I dont have the oldest 2 in the bath together as there isnt enough space, but otherwise I wouldnt mind.
