Just switched nursery and ds1 has started having nightmares

I am sure many of you will have been through this so I am hoping for some sage wisdom and advise.

Ds1 has been at nursery since 7 months and we have just had top change her to a private school nursery (same old issue with catchments for primary).

One of her little friends from the nursery is going with her and at first I thought this was good as reassuring and would make transition easier, but now I am not so sure.

She is stuck like glue to the other friend and every night wakes up crying for me.

When I ask her if she knows why she is upset she can't tell me.

What do you do? Am worried about her being too attached (makes me think I should not have her in as much as maybe she needs me a bit more?) to friend and these nightmares.

Could she take somthing familiar with her? Sounds obvious and maybe she already is but what about including her teddy in her bag. How old is she now? Can you let her go just mornings for a while or something part time? Good luck

|think the shorter days may be an idea, although the nursery is not that clear about what you can and can't do

I would push on shorted hours for a week or so, just to give you reassurance too.
