7 month old with the runs! dont read if having your breakfast

not sure where to post this. 7 month old has the runs!! i have stopped solids but carried on with milk which he is taking. what else can i do for him? should i give him extra water to keep him hydrated although water usually makes him go! not sure what to do? he is happy enough in himself. has been ongoing most of this week, as in getting looser then resulting in the actually diaoreah the last 2 days. hasnt been sick

DS has just had a very similar bout of D, you just have to stick it out, he had it for 10 days, didn't seem to bother him hugely apart from the nappy rash it caused. I took advice from GP and nhs direct, and you're doing everything right. I just sympathise with you!
