He's asleep on the entire thing!! He has a toddler bed but he still seems to want his cot so I thought a pillow maybe the first step in the transition to a bed and may teach him to sleep properly rather than at all angles around the cot

Plus he had a bump on the head earlier so I thought a pillow would me more comfy for him.

I'm worried it will make him too hot? He's just over two...shall I move it or? Its a proper toddler pillow btw

DS sleeps with his feet on his pillow and his head at the foot of the bed.

I'd just leave him TBH. I've given up trying to move my little chap.

dd (2.5) sleeps on top of hers most of the time - I just leave her to it - at this age I reckon they're old enough to shuffle about if they get too hot

My DS either flings it t or sqquashs it to the bottom of the cot if hedoes not want it. Sometimes he does want it though. He is almost two also.

Your DS will work it out for himself I guess!

PussinJimmyChoos · 21/08/2008 22:20

Well despite my PFB'ness, I'm ttc no 2 atm (well not right now, there are no doggie style antics while I shag and mnet at the same time!) so if my bladder gets shot and I end up in Tena lady pants, you could well be justified....

DS always seemed to wrestle his pillow - now he does the same with his duvet and assorted suddly animals. I keep thinking I should give DD the toddler pillow and maybe she wouldn't head-butt the side of the cot dozens of times a night, waking me up (her cot is right above our heads as she is in the attic room!)

Don't worry - he'll roll over (or wake you up ) if he gets too hot.

Its multi tasking y'know....

I'd be lucky if DH ever wanted to roger me senseless over the desk tbh...he's more of a between the sheets man...easier for them to roll over and sleep I s'pose....

but I digress...
