is 3 too young to take DS to see the 'fox and the child' at the cinema?

that's it really. it hasn't stoppped raining for a week here and i have run out of ideas. he loves animals, he loves his DVDs. erm - what does U certificate really mean? Any advice ? thanks

U means universal, although there might still be the odd scary bit for a 3yo, it will be mild, so be ready with cuddles.

If he can sit through a whole film at home, he will probably be OK. I took DD to the cinema when she was 3, and she loved it (we went to see Lilo and Stitch). DS was a different matter, and we left it till he was about 5.

thanks for that both will probably attempt it. was traumatised myself by being taken to film too young about 2 children being lost in desert - walkabout? i think - so rather anxious about not doing it to Ds s...
