help with a 2.2 yr DD, and rejecting her mummy

wondered if anyone can give me a pearl of wisdom. I'm a father to a DD, recently resigned work and in process of setting up my own biz, so I'm at home at the moment. My DD is in nursery 3 days a week, and with me the remaining 2 (and both of us on weekends). She is developing an aversion to her mummy, which is driving us both to distraction, there is no reason for it, but she wants to spend all her time with me, and seems to never want the comfort of my wife. I always assumed it would be the other way round, I'm not authoritarian but not a pushover either, but do play with her when I have her.

I think this might be quite a normal phase for children/girls of that age. My dd (2) is a real daddy's girl and will say 'NO mummy need daddy' when I go in in the morning. BUt she's v happy with me if daddy is not available. She gets keener on me when we spend a lot of time together without daddy, but to be honest I like that they have a good relationship and my friends with older children say the favouritism swings both ways over the years. BTW, I work P/T and dh works f/t.
