Hard on while trying on little sisters clothes - aarghh!

My ds aged nearly 4 was found this morning trying on his little sisters clothes and nappies and wanted to play the baby game - however he had the most enormous hard on whilst doing all lof this - is this a bit wierd???

Is an erection in such a small child a sign of sexual stimulation? My boys have erections (and laugh at them) but they don't seem to have any sexual pleasure. Am I naive to think this?

I think at 4 boys get a boost of testosterone (seem to remember this from reading raising boys). I'm sure his erection was set off by rubbing clothes against his penis or something innocent like that. My ds has just discovered that by playing around a bit, his penis gets all hard (he's 3) but I don't think it's sexual at all at this age - just a bit of male discovery!

My Ds(4) has a favourite party piece at the moment which is to drop his trousers and 'play guitar' with his willie

He of course reserves his best 'strumming' for when we have company which leaves me hissing at the guests 'just ignore him' while they roar with laughter

I don't actually know why I am howling with laughter.........he is 3.5 and I am sure it is my turn soon........gets one every time he has a poo if this helps

Ah the fun of having boys!

Strangely ds twin1 (3) is more interested in his widdler than his brother though. When sitting on the potty he does have a little investigation while ds twin2 will look around at other things rather than touch himself.

It is a change around because, when they were quite a bit younger, during one bathtime dst1 annoyed dst2 so dst2 reached under the water and pulled dst1's widdler. Dst1 actually moved several inches, like it was a dog lead pulling him! I was laughing so hard with shock he didn't get angry at his brother and laughed along!

Oh LOL! Thanks for wonderful laugh before bed! So this is what I have to look forward to... (ds is 18 mos.) Like her mother did before her (WAY before her, or so I'm told), dd (4.5 yrs) likes to wave her bare bottom around.

ds, then aged 5, told his nan when picking him up from school one day that the ball had hit him 'there', and he thought the bone was broken in it! I laughed for days!

LMAO......this is soo sooo funny.

My DS1 (4) has had erections since birth. Imagine my shock on discovering this after having three girls first!!! AND I had nannied for twin boys for 5 yrs before having my own kiddies, and it never happened with them. I truly thought my boy had something wrong. Not so tho, my HV reassured me completely, and said it is very normal and altho not all boys do, lots will. Stands true for me, as DS2 has absolutely NO interest in his willy.

Funny but uncomfortable story from my DS1 tho...
He is always pulling his willy, and I am constantly telling him not to, as for one, he could make himself sore, and also, does he really want to when there is wee on it. We agreed that if he wanted to play, he could in the bath. Well....one day, he asked to join me in the shower, and I agreed. He then asked if he could play with his willy now, like he would in the bath. I said yes, and the next moment, there he is, great big huge willy, telling me "wow mummy, isn't that great?"...Hmmmmmmm, maybe, but not when your are showering with mummy!!!!
Suffice to say, he doesn't share my shower anymore!!!!

Not quite the same, but my DS2 (3.5) has taken to pulling down his trousers, standing on the sofa with his back to our front sash windows and "mooning" at the street. We've discouraged this (LOL), but of course he has to do it whenever straightlaced visitors come round.....
