this child wants armbands to go in a padding pool?! Do you think his parents might be a tiny, weeny bit over-protective...?

tell him you'll hose him down if he doesn't get in

my ds is round at mates house

probably monopolizing his nintendo which ds is uber jealous of and being bossy

Sparkletastic · 07/08/2008 14:49

it is your duty to toughen them up whilst in your care. Set up an SAS style assault course in your garden, strap weighted packs to their backs and shout at them a lot.

Maybe your children are rebelling against your forthright manner by picking friends who are the antithesis of you?

DillyTanty · 07/08/2008 14:51

you have a paddling pool out? it's pissing down up here.

perhaps, cod, you scare the shitty shite out of these otherwise well-balanced children?

Ah, that's boys for you

The Inferiorettes' mates are hard. You don't mess with them.

Oliveoil · 07/08/2008 14:56

oh dd1 is like this, sensitive and I am sure a pain in the arse

BE NICE you mean old trout

Bridie3 · 07/08/2008 15:18

Throw some Haribos into the water so he has to get in.

Or 20 pence pieces.

I bet when you don't hear. Ds2's mate is talking in a strong Jamaican accent about " Me Fadder n Ting innit"

You ds will be rolling spliffs by the end of the week.

It's all an act. Any money.

If he's scared of heights, try this video on the scariest job in the world - or better still send him tower climbing for the day!
