It has taken a while. She was getting there, but so slowly. She had managed to go in a straight line, just for a bit, but would fall off instead of stopping, couldn't start, and coun't deal with corners or inclines.
But not now
We bought 6y DD a new bike this week (her old one was a tiny 14 inch frame and way too small for her).
I took her out on it this evening, just for half an hour or so, up to our park. And she has got it She can set off (most of the time!), she can stop properly (most fo the time) and can cycle and steer at the same time, and for a good lnegth of time too.
My girl has got it She was so determined tonight and I am so proud of her managing it.
Sheis very proud of herself too.
