My DS has just had his first tantrum...... Am I cruel to laugh?!

He is 8.5mnths old bless him, and his favourite game is playing with the TV unit, opening drawers and cupboards.... well we have just put string round the handles to stop him opening them (until i locate child locks!) and he has just had the mother of all tantrums on the floor.

Bless his cotton socks, but it was so funny! I love this age!

Not necessarily cruel, but be careful if he sees you laughing he'll think it's a joke and keep doing it. DH and I have had many times where we've had to leave the room or hide due to excessive spluttering.

agree with scanner. Not cruel but watch out he doesn't see you laughing and then think it a game.
