At what age do children stop talking to themselves when they're playing?

DS still does it at 7. I think it's sweet. How much longer have I got of it???

ds2 is 9 and still talks to himself quite a lot.

10yr old ds still does - I love hearing dalek voices !

I still talk to myself and I'm 43!!! Unfortunatley everyone knows that I do it and my DP has some video of me walking down the street having a very animated conversation with myself arms waving and everything!!!

LOL I know I've pulled faces to myself whilst deep in thought. I love seeing people just smiling to themselves in the street.

I'm 50 and still talk to myself. Why stop when you're the only one who makes any sense!

I talk to myself whilst driving and cleaning. I have always talked to myself!! I understand what I mean
