DS is 10mo. I started back at work a month ago - part-time. DS has been going into nursery 2 afternoons per week and I'm really worried about his behaviour. He has started to be quite agressive in the evenings after he has been in nursery. The nursery think that he is settling in OK but I'm really worried that this behaviour is reflecting his anxiety about being there. I have to work so I can't avoid him going in. Does anyone have any suggestions for strategies to cope with this?

He hits, scratches and kicks me and sometimes when he is having a BF he will hit himself.

oh. that sounds quite unusual. maybe he wants to wean?

I don't think he wants to wean - he's a bit of a boob monster and it is only the 2 evenings after he has been in nursery that he does it.

Perhaps you are both adjusting to a new situation and it will settle down. I can't really remember that far back but hope someone more helpful will be along soon.

I would probably put it down to tiredness myself
