If your LO started rolling early did progress to other stuff early too?

DS2 is 12 weeks old and can already roll front to back, and from his back onto either side. If he had been my first child I would be feeling very proud but as he's my 2nd I'm just concerned that all movement stuff (like crawling, walking and escaping from the cot)might come early too!

don't think it necessarily follows.
my firsty was really late rolling over. and once he did roll he could get onto tummy, but not abck again.
he did however, walk at 8.5 months lol

ds2 rolled over (and back) a lot earlier. but is yet to walk (at 9 months)

Nah, DD rolled at three weeks and then didn't walk till 13 months. She's a precocious little madam in many other respects though

They are all little individuals.

DD rolled over at 5 weeks. But then she was such a good crawler she had no reason to get up and walk. Walked at about 18 months from what I can remember.

DS could drag himself along on his tummy using his elbows at 10 weeks. Was walking a few drunken steps at 9 months.

They are all different.

my 2 rolled early, crawled early. walked but 9month and 10 month.

good luck!!

you may need to grow extra eyes in back of your head.

plus dc1 taught dc2 to do the naughty stuff like climbing early coz she is very mobile. a couple of weeks ago i caught the 2 of them jumping up and down on spare bed!! dc2 is only 11month!!!yesterday it had progressed to jumping off onto pile of cushions [hmmm]

(things they do when i'm in shower)

Don't think you can say, tbh.

dd1 rolled back to front at 12 weeks, and crawled at 5 months. I think it must have been because she liked being on her tummy, so naturally progressed to pushing up onto hands and knees to crawl. (ds1 and dd2 hated being on their tummies, and crawled from sitting, around 10 months). I was all ready for dd1 being an early walker, but this didn't happen until 12 months. She was SO fast at crawling!
