Ds (3) making me laugh with a fake sickly voice to get calpol

Ds just demanded pink medicine using the most hilarious fake sickly voice complete with fake coughs....he's only just turned 3 bless him and still needs to work on his acting skills.

I think we're in for lots of him trying to put on illness to skive off school when he's older!

It made me laugh anyway.

i get "my poo is stuck, i need medicine (in weak pathetic voice) the pink one"

DD2 who is nearly 3...

DD1 rushes over, "me too" (4 1/2)

what do they put in that stuff? they love it.

It's like kiddy cocaine.
Literally the second he took it he said 'I'm better now, my cold has gone'!! If only it were that easy!

OMG, I thought it was just mine!

DS (ahuh ahuh {fake cough} ) 'need calpol mummy'

ME "No you dont DS, thats a fake cough"

DS 'Isnt! Look I found it -I NEED some, I am VERY poorly'

ME: "OK jump into bed I will bring it up in a minute"

DS ' errrr feel better now'

i wish my dd liked it! she hates the stuff and runs a mile if i ever bring the bottle out of the cupboard. dh on the other hand loves it and used to always lick the spoon after giving it to dd when she was smaller.
