how to stop my 13month old hitting !

My 13 month old DS has started hitting everyone constantly. My 2 year old is probably the one who taught him though he has now grown out of the hitting thing. I am at a loss of what to do to stop such a little one. If I say No he shakes his head and laughs... any ideas anyone?

ignore and remove him from whoever he is hitting.

Say no calmly but firmly, take child away from situation, and toys then ignore....although not forever

i posted exactly the same message a few months ago, hold his hand & say a firm No, even if you feel like its not getting through, it just passes before you know it so try not to let him see its bothering you even though it is very annoying Good Luck
