DD2 is a delightful child and does try really hard to eat well
I have noticed that compared to her peers she has almost no control when holding any item of cutlery (small toddler size)
Food never gets to her mouth, so she uses her hands
I have worked with loads of children and apart from those with a sn (including dd1)
she is the clumsiest eater I have come across.
Any ideas on how to help her?

No ideas on help tbh, DD was the same and has recently started an assessment for dyspraxia. She is much better than she was but we just let her take her time and encouraged her , didn't see there was anything else we could do tbh.

My dd1 was like this, it just righted itself in time - mostly she just got motivated to do it and tried harder. She will be 6 in October and uses cutlery all the time (although she isn't terribly good at cutting tbh).
