To pick or not to pick?

6 MO DS is very snotty, sometimes it covers the whole of his nose after his sleep, but he cries blue murder if/when I pick it, leaving me feel like I'm the worst mummy ever. So do you pick or not pick?!

wet a flannel and wipe it off that way.
