Bouncer chair/ rocker

I've got a second hand Chicco rocker chair that I sit DS in, he kicks it to rock it, and often falls asleep. I don't think it looks comfy, but I'm not a baby.
It doesn't have any head support and he's only seven weeks - should he really be sitting in it and sleeping in it for any length of time until he can support his head more?

xx

I was feeling guilty about same thing, dd was spending several hours a day in her bouncy chair. I now put her down to sleep in her moses basket or pram during the day and try to keep the chair for "playing" time. I think they are meant to be flat for as long as possible.

depends on the rocker.

some are designed to go flat from birth.they have head huggers and go flat flat, other say from birth but they're not really. they must go ultra flat to be in them for longer than half an hour. for the same reason they shouldn't be in car seats for more than half an hour.

should try and make sure you get them used to taking sleep in their moses basket/travel cot/cot through the day round about the same time you wanna give them their regular sleep once they a bit older.

start as you mean to go.
