7 mnth old now wakeful now not thumb sucking

He slept so well as a thumb sucker, could even go down still awake and settle himself. Bottom teeth have come through and I suspect this is why he now doesn't suck his thumb. Any advice? 2am and 4am crying is a bit of a shocker.

Hmmm, DS did this, when the teeth came through and stopped hurting he resumed thumb sucking, all was well.

You might have to ride it out. Or you could try a dummy, but I would stick to the thumb if I were you.
