At what age did your child stop finding peekaboo the funniest thing in the world?

dd is nearly 2 and we still spend hours each day playing peekaboo with each other. she finds lots of things funny, particularly people falling over but me jumping out and shouting boo is still the highlight of her day.

she is partially sighted and I'm curious to know if this is delaying how she plays.

My just turned 2 year old charge loves playing where are you - she hides behind the door, and I go where has S gone and she pops round, squealing, also do it when she's in the buggy - pretend I can't see her - she finds it great and has a good giggle

25 mo DS stills thinks peek-a-boo is hilarious. In fact I think he finds it funnier now than when he was a baby.

When they got old enough to run ahead a little down the street and hide in a doorway then jump out. Just a 'grown up' version of the same game.
Although that game has to be on a tie with any kind of toilet humour (sigh)

Hm, my three and a half year old still thinks it's hilarious... sounds as though she's still doing exactly the same as dynamicnanny's 2-year-old!

thanks for the reassurance, I was getting a little worried as my friends younger ds looked at me like I'd gone stark raving mad when I tried to amuse him in the same way
