Where does she get the energy?

Oh lor', DD has only just gone to sleep after over an hour and a half of monkey business.

It's like she's got a pogo stick in her gro-bag - she bounces up to standing in her cot and thinks it's all marvellously funny ... until you leave the room.

Do we just stay in there all night and have no tea but hopefully less shouting or leave her to it?

How old is she?
Can't she sit with you while you have your tea?

mooki · 30/06/2008 21:30

Sorry - she's almost 10 months.

I've been doing her tea earlier as she was waking up with tummy aches. Then we have a bit of a muck about, then bath, then story, then bed. (then bed, then bed, then bed.

It wouldn't be impossible to sit down and eat together but I don't think it would stop the shenanigans later on.

Would she fall to sleep downstairs with you and then carry her up later?

Sorry Juuule, laptop battery died. I assume she would fall asleep downstairs with us eventually but she's so into everything at the moment, she seems to be able to stay awake on purpose now. Thanks for the thoughts though - you sound like you've got a good 'go with the flow' attitude.
