Is this normal for a usual little angel???

My DD1 is 16 months and is usually a dream child. She's cutting 5 molar teeth all at once bless her, so we've been applying Calgel etc. but she's turned into a little horror. Clingy, whining, bursts into tears at any opportunity. She's really sleepy too, usual nap is about an hour after lunch and she's having 2-3 hours plus 11 hours at night. Childminder reckons she's having a growth spurt too which I do agree with as her usually rolled up trousers now seem to fit normally! Anyone know what this might all be about? It's a bit hit and miss i.e. one day she's absolutely fine and next day she's like above. Dunno what she's gonna wake up like each morning!

Sounds normal for teething to me.

You've said it yourself - she's cutting 5 teeth and having a growth spurt. I'd be bloody knackered and grumpy myself if this was happening to me but I'd have the ability to tell everyone to naff off and leave me alone.

Yeah, I think you're right. I'm just used to having a text book baby and it's a shocker when she's playing up, guess I wasn't prepared for it! Hope it passes soon, poor little mite
