Dd only wants dh to put her to bed, upsets me, anyone solved this?

Dd (3 1/4) is used to being put to bed by dh as ds (just 1) has been breast fed until recently and always been quite clingy. They share a room so we're all together at bed time but I so miss putting her to bed. Situation has come to a head as for past 2 weeks she hasn't even let me give her a kiss or cuddle once she's in bed. As ds now weaned we are going to try to take turns putting them to bed. I put them both to bed tonight and it was ok but ds was upset and sad. She's fine with me during the day. Anyone else had/solved this problem?

no but have this problem with DS, not managed to put him to bed for about 9 monthd, he gets so upset. I just though go with it, it'll all work out one day but it hasn't! Only really issue when DH away. Hope you get sorted x

i find bedtime a bit tedious and would love to pass the whole thing over to dh. not sure what you can do to change it, probably not a lot. sounds like a phase and she probably won't be like this forever. who knows what goes on in their heads. dd is a real daddy's girl and goes to sleep much better if dp does it.
