2.5 year old tripod grip

Does anyone have experience of their younger child using a tripod grip when drawing/colouring? I noticed it a little while ago but google just says it’s not expected until ages 3-4. I have an older child so I assume it is a learned behaviour, but the older one took quite a while to stop using the palmer grasp.
Just intrigued to know if anyone else has noticed this with a second or third child.

Yes have noticed this as a nursery practitioner. Are they particularly good at fine motor skills?

I've noticed this in my younger children, I think when they have siblings to copy they learn a lot 😊 my 1yo even tries to do it!
