Not sure about this one - my 5.5m old DD is quite demanding of my attention during the day, isn't happy if I need to do washing up/hang up laundry/eat lunch between playing with her etc. Have tried moving her so she can watch, giving toys whilst she's in bouncy chair/changing her position frequently and whilst this used to work it now doesn't. Friends/family have various theories about teething/frustration that she can't sit or move yet/separation anxiety/testing boundaries/temper (!?) and just wondered what people thought and suggestions on ways to occupy. As a different issue, (but poss. related?) she cries if anyone she doesn't know leans into the pram/holds her... Sorry if this is all basic stuff - neurotic 1st time mummy here...

try a sling....my ds was the same and this solved it, he became more settled when left when he was around 8 months.
