Why does my happy go lucky, reasonably behaved little girl (2.10) turn into a whinging demon child the minute DP walks in the door.

I mean, its not like he doesnt adore/worship/love and spoil her rotten!!!!You know, when she says jump daddy, he says how high?? So now the minute he gets home, the whinging and crying starts until we are all stressed out. Ive tried very tactfully to say to him that its because he allows it and panders to her every whim but he thinks im mad

I am totally not being smug {not even a tiny bit[ when i say, well she was fine til you came home!

Because that's what dp's are like and that's what dc's pick up on! I banned dh from calling our dd anything to do with 'princess' as i hate it and we now use it as the warning name!

Oh no, mine is the same (21 months) she is a different child when he is home, tantrums, miserable and moany and clinging on to him. She is fab during the day and plays on her own never have any problems with her.

how annoying.
try to explain it bluntly if he wont accept the tactful version. sometimes people need things explained a few times before it gets through...
