Ha ha, crokky, you never had my 10 month old. We still call him 'Splodge'. How about a towel draped across the width of the bath? And just run a very shallow bath.

PuppyMonkey · 23/06/2008 21:36

I get DP to do baths as he can control mine better! And definitely agree, baths every night is a big no no.Twice a week at most in my house!

TeeBee · 23/06/2008 21:36

Is he too big for those chair things that stick to the bottom of the bath and swivel round? Can't remember when I stopped using ours.

I know what you are going through - here's what I did - removed my socks and rolled up my trousers - sat on the edge of the bath or on the corner seat with feet and legs in the bath! Worked well no accidents DD is now 2 and gets in and out herself - often soaking me or her dad while in there!

fruitymum · 23/06/2008 21:45

P.S you can support him with your legs for hairwashing or 2 handed jobs.

AMumInScotland · 23/06/2008 21:48

Keep a vest on him and keep a tight grip on that with one hand?
