My son is 4 and due to start school in September. He has suspected autism and adhd, a referral is in. He throws / hits when dysregulated and has been sent home from nursery twice in the last 2 weeks. I’m really worried that he will get excluded and I’ll have to quit work. Any advice?

My best advice is to apply for EHC Needs Assessment if you haven’t already. If you head on over to the SN Children section, there are some very supportive MNers in there who can help with the whole processFlowers

EHC needs assessments

An EHC needs assessment is an assessment of a child or young person’s education, health and care needs
